The running for the last week has been non-existent as Molly has been in the Hospital with a bad bout of pneumonia. She seems to be doing much much better now and we hope and pray that she'll be coming home in the next day or two. They don't tell you in any of those "What to Expect" books about how awful it is to see your child being poked, prodded and hooked up to all sorts of monitors. They very well might have mentioned it in those books but, as I assume with with most new Dads, I left that fancy book learning to my wife. Nonetheless, it was awful to see. Pam has always and continues to amaze me with how unbelievable a mother and wife she truly is. She has single-handedly held everything together and has been by Molly's bedside for 90% of the time while I worked or took care of Maggie and Jimmy. She has a big present waiting for her when she gets home and that present is a whole heaping pile of Laundry.
